Friederika Smith, 86, of Jemison died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Saturday, January 29, 1927 in Austria, Daughter of the late Carl Pickelbauer and the late Rosa Slater Pickelbauer. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Christa Robinson of Jemison, AL; Granddaughters, Tonya Buendtner of Clanton, AL, Hope Carter of Calera, AL; Grandson, Nathan (Dondi) Davenport of Jemison, AL; Step-Grandchildren, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jeremy Great-Grandchildren, Darren & Dustin Buendtner, B.J. & Christopher Buendtner, Jonaca Lathrop, Kaylan McKee, Landon & Tristan Schmidthorst; Gracie Davenport, Thomas Shane Loyd, Alyssa Alexander, Jordan Collum; 7 Step- Great Grandchildren; Nephew, Don Collum; Nieces, Janet Miller, Reba Myers. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ollie H. Smith and Great-Granddaughter, Jerica Smith. Friends will be received from 6-8, Friday, March 8, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
