Julius Eugene "Gene" Weldon, 78, of Billingsley died Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born on Friday, February 5, 1937 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Sam Weldon and the late Nettie Rawlinson Weldon. He was a Truck Driver/Farmer. Surviving are Wife, Rubie L. Weldon of Billingsley, AL; Daughters, Ann (Charlie) Rush of Daphne, AL, Teresa (Allen) Stewart of Maplesville, AL; Son, Tony (Genia) Weldon of Billingsley, AL; Grandchildren, Kyle (Kalan) Rush, Logan Rush, Drew Rush, Forrest Stewart, Mallory Stewart, Shelby Weldon; Step-Grandchildren, Deven George, Breanna George; Great-Grandchild, Leighton Rush. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Nettie Weldon. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, August 9, 2015 @ Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, August 10, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Pilgram Rest Baptist Church with Rev. William Earl Short officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Bapt.
