George V. Bolton, 96, of Clanton died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Sunday, September 6, 1914 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late G.L. Bolton and the late Frances Malzona Bolton. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are her Daughter, Paulette Smitherman; Grandchildren, Alvin & Terry McCary; 5 Grandchildren, Nancy Bolton, Ronnie Bolton, Jamie Taylor, Connie Smitherman, Ricky Smitherman; A Host of other Family & Friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Alice Bolton and A Host of other Loved Ones. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, February 22, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at 1:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelvin Smitherman and Rev. Jeff Mims officiating.
