George Powell Dansby, 78, of Clanton died Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born on Friday, January 31, 1936 in Ancon, Panama Canal, Son of the late John Clifton Dansby and the late Blonnie B. Baxley Dansby. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator. Surviving are Wife, Mrs. Beth Dansby of Clanton, AL; Sons, Jonathan (Darlene) Dansby of Jemison, AL, Jeff Dansby of Clanton, AL; Grandson, Austin Dansby of Jemison, AL; Granddaughter, Cassidy Dansby of Jemison, AL. Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 @ Thorsby First Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 1:30 A.M. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with Rev. Von McQueen and Rev. Donald Talley officiating.
