George A. Plier, 78, of Jemison, Alabama passed away March 3, 2021. He was born May 15, 1942 in Bibb County, Alabama, son of the late George Plier and the late Callie Williams Plier. He was a Superintendent at Superior Products. Surviving are his Wife, Lois LaFaye Plier; Daughters, Vanessa (Wade) Langston and Sonya (Jeff) Robinson; Son, Adam (Rita) Plier; Granddaughters, Kayla (Josh) Loyd, Corley (John) Roe, Haley (Kendall) Bice, Kaitlyn Langston, Natalee Robinson, Sydnee Robinson and Addyson Plier; Great-Grandchildren, Journey Loyd, Lexie Loyd, Bryson Loyd, Adleigh Bice and Elijah Bice; Sisters, Lois Gilmore, Dot Golson, Tommie Mitchell and Faye Griggs; Sister-In-Laws, Judy Cleckler, Jackie Hicks, Darleene Ward and Roxie Plier; a Host of Nieces, Nephews and Special Friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, George A. Plier; Mother, Callie Williams; Father-in-law, Werdna Burnett; Mother-in-law, Zenola "Sis" Burnett; Brothers, Durward Plier and Eirl Plier; Brother-In-Law, Chestine Bryant and Dud Burnett. Friends will be received Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
