He was born on Sunday, September 9, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late George Magnus Taylor and the late Vera Thomas Taylor. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Pauline Taylor of Jemison, AL; 2 Daughters, Vickey Cobb of Arab, AL, Sheila (Terry) Owens of Wetumpka, AL; Son, Mike (Gwen) Taylor of Jemison, AL; 4 Grandsons, 3 Granddaughters, 4 Great-Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6-8, Saturday, September 4, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010, at 3:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, AL. Pallbearers: Kenneth McCary, Eddie Martin, Jamie Taylor, Larry McCary, John Scarbrough and Joey Scarbrough.
