Gerald Wayne Stamps, 50, of Jemison went to his heavenly home Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center East, Montgomery. He was born on Friday, May 28, 1965 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of Gerald Edward Stamps and Marie Bachman Stamps. He was a beloved pastor of Old Macedonia Church and loved by so many. He was also a Special Education Teacher. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Amy Stamps; Son, Mr. Jeremy Stamps; Daughters, Miss Kristen Stamps, Miss Lynn Stamps; Mother, Mrs. Marie Stamps; Father, Mr. Gerald Edward Stamps; Sisters, Mrs. Debbie (Billy Mack) Traywick, Mrs. Pam (Jody) Elmore, Mrs. Lisa (Tony) Shaw; Numerous Nieces & Nephews; Brothers in Christ, David, Darrell, & Brian Jones. He was preceded in death by his Twin Infant Sons, Jacob & Joshua Stamps. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. David Jones and Rev. Austin Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
