Gerald Howard Weed, 88, of Prattville died Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was born on Sunday, August 19, 1923 in Alabama, Son of the late William Howard Weed and the late Minnie Ola Johnson Weed. Surviving are his Wife, Juanita G. Weed of Prattville, AL; Daughter, Rita Weed Traywick of Prattville, AL; Son, Chris (Jerrianne) Weed of Lebanon, OH; 4 Grandchildren, Spencer (Ellen) Traywick, Jennifer (Lewis) Hilyer, Christopher Weed, Krysta Weed Great-Grandchildren, Spence &Will Traywick, Samantha & Jacob Hilyer. Friends will be received from 12-1, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Coleman and Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
