Gibbi Sue Roberts, 58, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 10, 2025, at her residence.


She was born on November 1, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of the late Leo Gibbs Hardin and Sandra Lea Miller.


She was an Executive Assistant / Project Administrator at Tormod, Inc., Marriott Grand Hotel Resort and Spa and Visit Mobile.


Surviving her are her Husband, Keith Roberts, Son, Brandon Hardin (Mandy) Roberts, Daughters, Brittani (Ryan) Ellison, Bailea Ellene Roberts, Granddaughter, Rylea Gibbs Ellison, Grandsons, Logan Hardin Roberts, Parker Ryan Ellison and Luke Avery Roberts, Brothers, Kim (Leigh) Carper, Linn (Lisa) Carper, Gary (Cristina) Carper. Seven (7) Nieces, Six (6) Nephews.


She was preceded in death by her Father, Leo Gibbs Hardin.


Gibbi leaves a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness that will never be forgotten.  A devoted mother, Gibbi nurtured her children with boundless love, always putting their needs above her own. Her strength, guidance, and unwavering support shaped the lives of those fortunate enough to call her wife, mother, friend. She was a beacon of compassion, always ready with a comforting word or a gentle hug when it was needed most.  As Mimi, Gibbi was filled with joy and laughter. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and her love for them knew no bounds. She had a unique ability to make every moment special, filling their lives with warmth, wisdom, and endless affection. Her legacy of love and care will continue to be passed down for generations.


Gibbi was truly the most caring, loving, and kind-spirited person. Her heart was as big as her smile, which had the remarkable ability to light up every room she entered. Her energy was contagious, and her presence brought comfort and peace to everyone she encountered. Whether she was lending a listening ear, offering a helping hand, or simply sharing her infectious laugh, Gibbi made every person feel valued and loved.


Gibbi was a light in this world, and her love will forever illuminate the lives of those she left behind.  Her favorite places were the beach with family and friends, a dance recital or volleyball game with her granddaughter, or on the fence at a ballpark cheering on her three grandsons.


Friends will be received Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for visitation at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church. At Gibbi’s request she provided direction for attire, “Would like everyone to dress in cheerful clothes, my life was amazing, and I would like an array of happy colors”. Please honor her wishes.  Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church with Bro. Tony Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
