Gifton "Buddy" Eugene RUSH, JR., 74, of Clanton died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at his residence. He was born on Monday, March 26, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Gifton Eugene Rush, Sr. and the late Della West Rush. He was a Retired Aircraft Mechanic. He was also an avid Alabama fan. Surviving are his 2 Daughters, Kim (Greg) Lolley of Prattville, AL, Wendy Rush of Huntingtown, MD; 2 Grandsons, Neal Lolley of Prattville, AL, Gifton Lolley of Prattville, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Ashley Harriss of Huntingtown, MD, Jenna Harriss of Huntingtown, MD, Heather Harriss of Huntingtown, MD. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Merle Rush. Friends will be received from 6-8, Monday, December 8, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 2:30 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Strattis officiating. Interment will follow in Lomax Church of Christ, .
