She was born on Tuesday, July 17, 1917 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late John Higgins and the late Columbia Higgins. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mrs. Hazel (Cecil) Cleckley of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. Tim (Sheila) Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Granddaughter, Mrs. Crystal (Jerry) Russell of Clanton, AL; 2 Grandsons, Mr. Rex (Amy) Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Mr. Chris (Rachel) Cleckley of Clanton, AL; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Dalton Cleckler, Son, Mr. O'neal Cleckler, Son, Mr. Wayne Cleckler. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Services will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 2:00PM. at Zion Ridge Church of God with Rev. Tony Thomas, Rev. Robert Barnes, Rev. Ken Northcutt and Rev. Melvin Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
