Glenda Faye Moates Payton, 66, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Troy Regional Medical Center, Troy. She was born on Friday, August 3, 1945 in Clanton, AL, Daughter of the late Ervin Baker and the late Anna Belle Baker. Surviving are her Daughter, Renee Moates (Mike) Smith; Son, Mike Moates; 3 Grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Amy Smith, Samantha Moates; Sister, Inez Ward.Step-Children, Benny Payton, Sherry Ware, Penny Mims; Step-Grandchildren, Benjamin & Derek Payton, Joey Mims & Jessica Mims Spears; 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl Payton; Parents, Ervin & Anna Bell Baker; Brother, Herschel Baker; Step-Son, Steven Payton. Friends will be received from 5-7, Saturday, August 20, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
