He was a software engineer. Surviving are his Wife, Tina Nelson; Daughter, Hailey (Joseph) Smitherman; Son, Garett (LeAnn) Nelson; Grandsons, Gavin Nelson, Carter Ivey, Warren Nelson, Jace Smitherman, Abel Smitherman; Granddaughters, Ellie Nelson, Adley Smitherman, Camdyn Smitherman; Brother, David Nelson. He was preceded in death by his Father, David Carl Nelson; Mother, Geraldine Nelson; Sister, Carla Griffin. Friends will be received Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church #2.
