He was born on Monday, December 27, 1943 in Arab, AL, Son of the late Wonders Jarvis Lands and the late Louise Jackson Lands. He was a Truck Driver for 35 years and member of Pleasant Grove #2 Church. Surviving are his Wife, Jackie Nesbitt of Maplesville, AL; Son, Michael Nesbitt of Maplesville, AL; Daughters, Rebecca (Waylon) McDaniel of Maplesville, AL, Dyrenda Cooper, Florida, Joyce (Richard) Hilburn of Jemison, AL; Sister, Evelyn Burl Pierson of Millbrook, AL; 8 Grandchildren, Leslie, Matthew, Crystal, Ethan, Cameron, Josh, Heather, & Brantley; Great-Grandchild, Aniyah; Many Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father & Mother, Wonders Jarvis & Louise Jackson Lands; Sisters, Mary & Betty. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, December 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist #2 Church with Rev. Robert Gibson and Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.
