Harold McNeal Hayes, 84, of Thorsby died Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Vincent's, Birmingham. He was born on Thursday, November 23, 1933 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late J.D. Hayes and the late Emily Alene Rasberry Hayes. He was a Steel Fitter. Surviving are Wife, Peggy G. Hayes of Thorsby, AL; Son, Richard (Candy) Hayes of Thorsby, AL; Daughter, Myra (David) Moreland of Ft. Payne, AL; Brothers, Doug (Nell) Hayes of Thorsby, AL, David (Ann) Hayes of Thorsby, AL; Sister-in-Law, Marie Hayes of Dothan, AL; Grandchildren, Reed Youngblood, Jared Youngblood, Nathan (Sabrina) Hayes, Nolan Hayes, Josh Moreland, Kayla Moreland; Great-Grandchild, Ava Kate Hayes. He was preceded in death by his Parents, J.D. & Alene Hayes, Brother, Bill Hayes. Friends will be received from 5-7, Monday, January 22, 2017 @ Fellowship Hall Macedonia Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop, Rev. Zach Bates, Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.
