He was born on Tuesday, October 1, 1918 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Orville McKinney Martin and the late Mattie Mims Martin. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his 2 Sons, Mr. Paul Edward Martin of Danbury, NC, Mr. James Richard Martin of Florence, AL; Sister, Mrs. Adrian Beasley of Jemison, AL; 3 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-7, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 11:00 AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
