Harold Wayne Smith, 77, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born on Monday, January 12, 1942 in Alabama, Son of the late Columbus Smith and the late Carrie Lovett Smith. He was a carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Lois Smith of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Regina (Jimmy) Mims of Clanton, AL; Granddaughter, Rachel Mims of Clanton, AL; Special Sister-in-Law, Sue Ann (Curtis) Connell of Clanton, AL; Brother, Bobby Smith of Jones, AL; Special Friend, Cindy McDaniel; Clanton Church of God Family. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Clanton Church of God. Services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Clanton Church of God with Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice and caregivers, Ariel and Deanna.
