Harvey Lee Cox, 78, of Verbena, Alabama passed away September 23, 2021 at his Residence in Verbena, Alabama. He was born August 22, 1943, son of the late Moody Cox and the late Mary Cox. He was a Construction Worker. Surviving are his Daughter, Connie (Todd) Helms; Daughter, Bonnie (Jeff) Hay; Stepson, Buddy Welch; Stepson, Jimmy Welch; Stepdaughter, Debra (Travis) Bass; Stepdaughter, Carol Welch; Grandson, Corey (Hannah) Helms; Grandson, Robert (Buffy) Helms; Granddaughter, Brittany (Brett) Tucker; Granddaughter, Jenna (Brad) Powell; Granddaughter, Kelsey (Tim) Osborne; Granddaughter, Allyson (Jordan) Hurst; A host of Great-Grandchildren; Brother, James B (Diane) Cox; Sister, Linda Gail (Lawrence) Henley. He was preceded in death by His Wife, Carol Mims Cox; Wife, Sara "Sue" Welch Cox; Father, Moody Lee Cox; Mother, Mary Alice Cox; Son, Harvey Cox, Jr.; Sister, Mary Lorriane Pogue; Stepdaughter, Sonya Gamache. Friends will be received Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Midway Church of Christ. Services will be held September 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m at Midway Church of Christ.
