Harvie Lee ELLISON, 84, of Clanton died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. He was born on Monday, March 30, 1925 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late John Ellison and the late Arviaina Vanderslice Ellison. He was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He also served in the Army during World War II. Surviving are his Wife, Lola Mae Ellison of Clanton, AL; Step-daughter, Gail Elrod of Jemison, AL; Sister, Lena Liveoak of Clanton, AL; A Host of Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Sisters, Maudie Cost, Pearly Porter, Roberta Smith, Katie Porter, Elmer Bolton and Infant Joyce Ellison; Brothers, Johnnie Ellison, Ocie Ellison, J.B. Ellison, Odis "Dick" EllisonClaudie Ellison and Parents, John & Arvizina Ellison. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, March 2, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelvin Smitherman and Rev. J.Aaron Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Archers Chapel Methodist, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
