Hattie J. Knight, 94, of Clanton died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Thursday, February 27, 1919 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Stewart Maudling and the late Roxie McKenzie Maudling. She was a Grocery Store Owner. Surviving are Daughters, Gail Ray of Clanton, AL, Carol Elaine Johnson of Clanton, AL, Joyce "Tinker" Durham of Clanton, AL; Son, Donald "Doe" Knight of Coopers, AL; 15 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Shorty Knight and Son, Gabby Knight. Friends will be received from 12-1, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
