Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Mrs. Shirley (Randall) Gilliland of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Peggy (Jimmy) Jones of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. James Earl Bates of Clanton, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Betty Owens of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Faye Ward of Clanton, AL; 3 Brothers, Mr. Jimmy Mims, MS, Mr. Jackie Mims of Alabaster, AL, Mr. Ronald Mims of Clanton, AL; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, February 15, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 11:00 A.M.. at Providence Baptist #2 with Rev. Glenn Bonds, Rev. Jimmy Jones and Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Providence #2 Baptist Cemetery, . Martin Funeral Home directing.
