Helen Sue PAYTON, 62, of Clanton died Friday, January 16, 2009 at her residence. She was born on Friday, May 24, 1946 in Chilton County, AL, Daughter of the late Eugene Robert Dennis and the late Mary Pearl Moore Dennis. She was an Educator. Surviving are Husband, Bruce Payton of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Angel Payton (Michael) Knight of Clanton, AL; 2 Brothers, Eugene Dennis of Trussville, AL, Joe Dennis of Clanton, AL; A Host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brett Payton. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Concord Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, at 11:00am. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Don Graham, Dr. Rick Marshall, Rev. Robert Gibson, and Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL.
