Helen Klinner Powell, 89, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away May 19, 2023, at Fair Haven Nursing Home.
She was born May 31, 1933, in Maplesville, Alabama, daughter of the late Arthur H. Klinner and the late Rosa Ratliff Klinner.
She was a Private Branch Exchange Operator with Hayes International.
Surviving are her Daughter, Genelle Powell; Sister, Hildred Folmar; Brother, Jimmie John Klinner; Host of Nieces and Nephews and Godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jeff Russell Powell, Jr.; Step Son, Jeffery R. Powell.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Services will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris DeGreen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sardis Baptist Church: 4810 County Road 15, Maplesville, Alabama 36750 or to Christ the King Lutheran Church: 611 Riverchase Parkway West, Hoover, Alabama 35226.
