He was born on Sunday, February 24, 1929 in Alabama, Son of the late McKinley Johnson and the late Alma Dobbs Johnson. He was a Painter. Surviving are his Wife, Lorene Johnson of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Mike (Tamey) Johnson of Clanton, AL, Kevin (Stephanie) Johnson of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren; Cody, Tracey, Katie, Logan and Nicholas, Great Granddaughter; Sarah; Sister, Bernice Caver of Clanton, AL. Friends will be received from 6-8, Thursday, March 5, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, March 6, 2009, at 1:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045. Martin Funeral Home directing.
