Hilman Edsel MIMS, 84, of Clanton died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. He was born on Wednesday, April 1, 1925 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Virgil Morris Mims and the late Lottie Roberta Easterling Mims. He was a Rural Letter Carrier. Surviving are his 2 Sons, Mr. Roger Mims of Clanton, AL, Mr. Keith Mims of Clanton, AL; 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mrs. Miriam W. Mims. Friends will be received One hour prior to service, Friday, March 12, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010, at 2:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama 35045.
