Horace Asbury SANDLIN, 77, of Deatsville died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Sunbridge Nursing Home, Elmore. He was born on Saturday, October 10, 1931 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Thadeus Asbury Sandlin and the late Gurrie Adeline Courtney Sandlin. He was a Barber. Surviving are his 2 Sons, Keith Noel (Valerie) Sandlin of Montgomery, AL, Kevin Joel (Sherri) Sandlin of Elmore Co, AL; 4 , Grandchildren, Savannah, Hunter, Anagrace and Sara; Brother, James Sandlin of Clanton, AL; Sister, Eloise Bailey of Foley, AL. He was preceded in death by his Sister, Shirley Perry. Friends will be received from 2-3PM, Sunday, June 28, 2009 @ the church. Services will be held Sunday, June 28, 2009, at 3:00PM. at Chestnut Creek Bapt. Church with Pastor Jack Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL Martin Funeral Home directing.
