Howard Earl Abbott, 78, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away February 14, 2020 at Hospital Bibb Medical Center, . He was born April 8, 1941 in Chilton County, Alabama, son of Felton Abbott and Rosie Abbott. He worked with the Alabama State Highway Department. Surviving are his Daughter, ReDonna (Jim) Fredricks, Son, Don (Andrea) Abbott, Son, Joe (Sheree) Abbott, 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, Brother, Cecil Abbott, Brother, Raymond Abbott. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Dorothy Jo Abbott, Granddaughter, Allie Jordan Fredericks, Numerous Brothers and Sisters, Father, Felton Abbott and Mother, Rosie Haigler Abbott. Friends will be received, from 5pm to 7pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Monday. Services will be held, 11am Tuesday, at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
