He was a Superintendent. Surviving are Daughter, Myra (Pete) Varden of Jemison, AL; Sons, Greg (Jo) Thrash of Jemison, AL, Marty (Sharon) Thrash of Jemison, AL; Grandchildren, Monica, Ryan, Chris, Brian, Brandon, Shay, Casey, Kyle, Michael & Kaylan; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Special Friend, Misty Cleckler. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Eugene & Alice Thrash, Wife, Dot Thrash and Brothers & Sisters, Emma, Ernest, Edward, Bernie, Onzell, Artell, Lula, Thelma, Preston, Willadean, Clarice. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, June 4, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
