Hubert Cummings

MSgt. Hubert Cummings USAF (Ret.), 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Hubert was born on February 1, 1940 in Isabella, Alabama. He proudly served his country, for twenty-one years, in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He worked at Robins Air Force Base in the military personnel office where he retired after twenty years. Hubert attended Mulberry Baptist Church in Isabella, Alabama. In his free time, he enjoyed playing and coaching basketball and baseball. His parents, William Joseph Cummings and Fannie Lee LeCroy Cummings, preceded him in death. His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Jane Cummings, of Kathleen, Georgia; sons, Keith Cummings (Duna) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Darin Cummings (Cherry) of Fort Valley, Georgia, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and brother, Dr. Richard Cummings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A second service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church in Isabella, Alabama, with interment following in Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.
