She was born on Thursday, February 5, 1931 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James Reedie Patterson and the late Grace Wilson Patterson. She worked at the Board of Registrars. Surviving are her Sons, Mr. Marvin (Jan) Martin of Opelika, AL, Mr. Joe (Mavis) Martin of Cullman, AL; Grandsons, Mr. J.R. Martin of Opelika, AL, Mr. Daniel Hendrix of Birmingham, AL; Granddaughter, Ms. Jennifer Martin of Opelika, AL; Sisters, Mrs. Mary (Sidney) Sample of Little Rock, AK, Mrs. Betty (Bobby) Cook of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Joe Marvin Martin. Friends will be received from 12-1, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home.
