Irene Mims Luhrs, 84, of Clanton died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Sunday, April 28, 1929 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Harace Mims and the late Ella Smitherman Mims. She was a Butcher. Surviving are her Husband, A.C. (Ashley) Luhrs of Clanton, AL; Son, Johnny (Susan) Palladino of Mt. Vernon, KY; Daughters, JoAnn (Alfred) Morris of Maineville, OH, Marie (Lonnie) Patterson of Cincinnati, OH; Step-Daughter, Susan Cooper of Allentown, PA, Michele (John) Fehrenbach of Coppersville, PA, Linda Bobick, NJ; Numerous Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Harace & Ella Mims. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Oneal Cleckler and Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.
