Jack Nelson Lovett, 82, of Jemison, Alabama passed away January 31, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL.

He was born August 18, 1939 in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Henry Lovett and the late Georgia Lovett.

He was a logger.

Surviving are his Daughter, Rita Dooley; Son, Timmy (Pam) Lovett; Grandsons, Shane (Rebecca) Lovett, Kevin (Amanda) Lovett; Granddaughters, Kelley Cochran; Great-Grandsons, Ethan Cochran, Elliott Cochran, Emmitt Cochran, Henry Lovett; Great-Granddaughters, Eliza Lovett, Charlotte Lovett, Katelyn Lovett, Abby Lovett, Lydia Lovett.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Doris Lovett; Father, Henry Lovett; Mother, Georgia Lovett; Daughter, Anita Lovett; Brothers, Roger Lovett, Clyde Lovett, RC Lovett, Robert Lovett, Billy Lovett, Cecil Lovett; Sister, Mazie Dutton.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mark Lovett officiating.

Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
