He was born December 3, 1953 in Alabama, son of the late Otis Varden and the late Lurlene Varden.
He was a Carpenter.
Surviving are his Wife, Janice Ratliff Varden; Son, Shane (Lisa) Varden; Daughter, Denice Holloway; Daughter, Wendy Melton; Granddaughter, Madison Melton; Grandson, Andrew Varden; Grandson, Alex Varden; Brother, Wallace Varden; Sister, Helen Varden; Sister, Doris Maddox; Sister, Betty (Jim) Hughes; Sister, Kathy (Jackie) Tracy.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Otis Varden; Mother, Lurlene Varden; Brother, Renfroe Varden; Brother, Otis Varden, Jr.; Brother, George Varden; Sister, Shirley Smitherman.
A Graveside Service will be held, February 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist #2 Cemetery.
