James Vaughn Beck, 67, of Clanton died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Jackson Hospital , Montgomery. He was born on Saturday, January 20, 1945 in Mississippi, Son of the late Claude Beck and the late Mamie Cline Beck. He was a Railroad Engineer. Surviving are Wife, Becky Beck of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Julie Beck Hatten of Hattiesburg, MS; Son, Joseph Beck of Knoxville, TN; Stepdaughter, Davidica McConnell of Clanton, AL; 6 Grandchildren; 3 Brothers, Terry Beck of Brandon, MS, Bill Beck of Brandon, MS, Mike Beck of Brandon, MS; 3 Sisters, Dorothy Simmons Robbins of San Antonio, TX, Bobbie of San Francisco, CA, Patty Travis of Brandon, MS. A visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5-8pm. Friends will be received from 2-3pm, Saturday, September 22, 2012 @ Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Cemetery, Clinton, MS.
