James Milton Carden, 94, of Clanton died Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He was born on Friday, February 6, 1920 in Shelby Co., AL, Son of the late Jim Carden and the late Ida Lee Atchison Carden. He was in Maintenance for Sears. Surviving are his Sister, Betty Weldon of Birmingham, AL; Many Cousins, Nieces, & Nephews. Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating. No Flowers. Please donate to the Butterfly Bridge Children's Advocacy Center, P.O. Box 588, Clanton, AL 35046. Martin Funeral Home directing.
