James Carl Jones, 78, of Thorsby died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, May 29, 1937 in Alabama, Son of the late Claude Jones and the late Evelyn Lawrence Jones. He was the VP of Operations for Gray Star, Inc. Surviving are his Wife, Patricia Childress Jones of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Robin Jones Riggins of Fairhope, AL; Son, Patrick (Faith) Jones of Evanston, IN; Grandchildren, Arianna Riggins of Fairhope, AL, Drake Jones of Evanston, IN, Savannah Jones of Evanston, IN; Brother, Frank Jones of Fayette, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Claude & Evelyn Jones. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Jemison First Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery, Fayette, AL.
