James Walter Connell, II

James Walter Connell, II, 65, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 5, 2026, at a local hospital.

He was born November 18, 1960, in Alabama, son of the late James Connell and the late Merelle Connell.

James worked for 42 years for Norment Industries/ Cornerstone Detection Products in the Airtec division. He retired in October 2025.

Surviving are his Sons, James (Courtney) Connell, III, Dustin (Victoria) Connell; Granddaughter, Leighton Connell; Grandson, Trent Connell; Sisters, Melessia (David) Easterling, Faye Brand.

He was preceded in death by his Father, James W. Connell, Sr.; Mother, Merelle Connell.

Friends will be received Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:30 am. at Clanton City Cemetery with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in Clanton City Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
