James Larry Cottrell, 57, of Selma died Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Montgomery. He was born on Sunday, January 29, 1956 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late James R. Cottrell and the late Sara Catherine Jones Cottrell. He was a Tool & Die Maker. Surviving are his Wife, Mary Beth Cottrell of Selma, AL; Daughter, Jessica (Allen) Johnson of Selma; Grandchildren, James, Gabrielle & Samantha; Sister, Helen Loper of Clanton, AL; Uncle, Charles Cottrell of Clanton, AL; 2 Aunts, Lucy Jones & Audrey Jones of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, James & Sara Catherine Cottrell and a Sister, Sherry Finley. Services will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 4:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations to funeral fund.
