James C. Dawson

James  C. Dawson, 54, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 18, 2023, at St. Vincent's in Clanton, Alabama.

He was born September 29, 1968, in Alabama, son of the late L.C. Dawson and the late Barbara Dawson.

He was a carpenter.

Surviving are his Wife, Valerie Johnston; Daughter, Claudia Sue Dawson; Sons, Samual (Hannah) Dawson, Jacob Dawson, Jayden Dawson; step-daughter, Destiny Fountain; Granddaughter, Olivia Dawson; Brothers, Travis (Cindy) Dawson, Randy (Sherri) Dawson; Sister, Lisa Dawson; a host of  nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, L.C. Dawson; Mother, Barbara Sue Dawson.

Friends will be received Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Hardy officiating.

Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
