James Allen Echols, 64, of Verbena, Alabama passed away April 17, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, Alabama. He was born January 2, 1957 in Montgomery, Alabama and he was an Electrician. Surviving are his Wife, Sharon Echols; Son, Ronnie (Holley) Echols; Son, Chris (Jenny) Echols; Grandson, Aaron Echols; Grandson, Cameron Echols; Grandson, Peyton Echols; Granddaughter, Cora Echols; Sister, Betty Cushing; Sister, Freida Stutterville; Brother, Ralph Cooper and Sister, Susie McKinnon. He was preceded in death by His Mother, Ollie Ruth Humphrey; Brother, Paul Echols; Grandfather, Paul Hammonds; Grandmother, Pearlie Hammonds. Friends will be received Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Floyd Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Floyd Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Lawrence and Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Jack Green, Wesley Green, James Cook, Damon Abbott, Tyler Abbott, and Tanner Mims.
