James Douglas Gore

James Douglas  Gore, 74, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 8, 2023, at his residence.

He was born September 16, 1949, in Alabama, son of the late Raymond Gore and the late Flora "Johnnie" Gore.

He was the owner of Gore & Easterling Chair Company. After retirement he continued with his woodcrafts and working in his yard.

Surviving are his Wife, Pam Gore; Daughters, Michelle Knight and Teresa (Jim) Blair; Son, Doug (Kim) Gore, , Jr.; Grandchildren, Nelson Blair, Forrest Knight, Abbi (Blake) Gentry, Alysa Lee and Reid Gore; Great-Grandson, Rylan Gentry; Sister, Shirley Green; many nieces and nephews whom he adored..

He was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond L. Gore; Mother, Flora "Johnnie" Gore; Brother, Jimmy Ray Gore; Sister, Mary Joyce Gilliland.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Paul Foreman officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Blair, Forrest Knight, Blake Gentry, Kent Gilliland, Jeff Green, and Ray Green.
