James Eugene HARDCASTLE, 69, of Pelham died Monday, January 26, 2009 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham. He was born on Saturday, April 29, 1939 in Birmingham, Alabama, Son of the late Charles Leslie Hardcastle and the late Sally Alberta Warlick. He was a Lab Tech. Surviving are his Wife, Patricia Bearden Hardcastle of Pelham, AL; Daughter, Sabra (Bob) Hardcastle Hatch of Maylene, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Zoe L. Hatch of Maylene, AL, Sydney Annabeth Xia He Hatch of Maylen, AL; numerous nieces & nephews. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyle Holland and Rev. Andy McClung officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL Martin Funeral Home directing.
