James Herbert Cleckler, 86, of Clanton died Friday, August 21, 2015. He was born on Tuesday, October 16, 1928 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Willie Cleckler and the late Susan Elizabeth Mims Cleckler. He was a Brick Mason. Surviving are Daughters, Linda Kirkland of Clanton, AL, Cyanthia Dempsey of Clanton, AL; Brother, Ivie Gene Cleckler of Clanton, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Dollie Cleckler, Daughter, Dorothy Wyanell Willis, Daughter, Donna Kay Cleckler, Daughter, Jeanett Horton, Brother, Johnny V. Cleckler, Brother, Willie Windford Cleckler, Brother, Cecil Cleckler, Brother, Leon Cleckler and Sister, Glennie Robinson. Friends will be received from 1-2, Sunday, August 23, 2015 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. John Coburn officiating.
