He was a Operator. Surviving are his Son, Mr. & Mrs. Julius Hicks of Tuscaloosa, AL; 2 Daughters, Shirley (George) Taylor, Sandra Mae; Numerous Nieces & Nephews, Numerous Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Rosie Bell Ivy; Ruby Rickie; Brother, Rich Ardie (Eunice) Hicks; 2 Stepson, Ricky (Sue) Mitchell, Wayne (Jane) Barrett. He was preceded in death by his Son, Donald Hicks. Friends will be received from 11:30 - 12:30, Wednesday, November 18, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 1:00 PM. at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Maplesville, AL. with Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating.
