James Marvin Kelley, 88, of Verbena died Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born on Thursday, December 11, 1930 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Lee Edward Kelley and the late Pearlie Mims Kelley. James was a dedicated member of Billingsley Church of God for over 30 years. He was an upstanding pillar of the community and Christian role model to his family & friends. Surviving are Wife of 70 years, Mildred Louise Kelley of Verbena, AL; Sons, Wendell (Janice) Kelley of Verbena, AL, Randell (Wilma) Kelley of Verbean, AL, David (Jeffery) Kelley of Red Bay, AL, Daniel (Sharon) Kelley of Verbena, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Granddaughter, A Host of Nieces, Nephews & Other Family. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lee & Pearlie Kelley, Brother, Rubin Kelley, Sister, Velma Knight. Friends will be received from 6-until, Friday, January 4, 2019 @ Chestnut Creek Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Chestnut Creek Bapt. Church with Rev.
