James E. Lett, 92, of Clanton, AL  passed away September 17, 2023, at  Hatley Health Care in Clanton, AL.

He was born January 6, 1931, in Clanton, Alabama, son of William Lett and Kattie Lett.

He was a Carpenter.

Surviving are his Daughter, Sandra  (Arthur) Davis, Son, Dale  (Judy) Lett, Grandson, Jeremy  (Carla) Davis, Granddaughter, Jennifer  (Mike) Baker, Granddaughter, Mandy  (Felicia) Lett, Great-Grandson, Jacob (Haley) Davis, Great-Granddaughter, Krista (Cole) Robinson, Great-Granddaughter, Maeci (Travis) Adams, Great-Grandson, Trey (Anna) Baker, Great-Grandson, Dallas Knight, Great-Great-Grandson, Knox Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his Loving Wife, Ethel M Lett, Father, William Henry Lett, Mother, Kattie Lett, Daughter, Debra Cleckler, Brother, Dearl Lett, Brother, Charles Lett, Brother, Kenneth Lett, Granddaughter, Sabrina Lett.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sunshine Assembly of God Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 11:00 am. at Sunshine Assembly of God Church with Arthur Davis, Jeremy Davis and Travis Adams officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
