James Edward Minor, Sr.

James Edward Minor, 86, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 19, 2023, at his residence.

He was born January 20, 1937, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Johnnie Minor and the late Ceptra Minor.

He was a Truck Driver.

Surviving are his Wife, Elizabeth A. Minor, Son, James E. (Amy) Minor, Jr., Daughter, Leslee C. (David) Baswell, Granddaughters, Elizabeth Crumpton, Emilee Crumpton: Grandson, Joshua Minor; Sister, Lois Minor Easterling.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Johnnie E. Minor; Mother, Ceptra Minor; Brother, Grady Minor; Brothers, Earl Minor, Doyle Minor, Durward Minor; Sisters, Connie Bell, Agnes Cleckley, Ruth Britton.

Graveside Services will be held , July 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Memorial Cemetery with  Rev. James Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
