James Richard Moody, Jr.

James Richard Moody, Jr., age 76, of Jemison, Alabama passed away December 2, 2024, at his residence.

He was born August 14, 1948, in Alabama, son of the late James Moody and the late Sarah Moody.

He was employed at the Thrift Store in Calera.

Surviving are his Sister, Fredia (Johnny) Smitherman; Brother, Bobby Moody; Sister, Gail Smitherman; A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and a great niece & nephew..

He was preceded in death by his Father, James Richard Moody, Sr.; Mother, Sarah M Moody; Brothers, Charles Butch Collum, Jerry Moody.

Friends will be received Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Center Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Center Hill Baptist Church with Clyde and Dusty Dutton officiating.

Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Duncan, Ed Stewart, Shane Hay, Jimmy Smitherman, Frank Wilkins, Ryan Spigener, and Wendy Duncan.
