He was born on Saturday, August 11, 1945 in Chilton County, Alabama, Son of the late George David Morris and the late Minnie Lee Burnett. He was a Inspector. Surviving are Wife, Lynn Morris; 2 Daughters, Leah Avery, Ashley (Dean) Cost; Grandchildren, Tanna & Taylor Hudson; Grandchild, James Dean Cost; 4 Brothers, David (JoAnn) Morris, Joe (Dianne) Morris, Gary (Kathy) Morris, Michael (Quinell) Morris; Sister, Glenda Morris; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews; A special friend, Hunter Eason. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Martin Chapel. Services will be held Friday, August 1, 2008, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Pastor Derrel Jonesofficiating. Interment will follow in Old Mt. Zion Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
