Rev. James Newton Moore, 92, of Billingsley died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Sunday, December 7, 1919 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Melton Moore and the late Pearlie Wright Moore. He was a retired Assistant Supervisor of the Assembly Dept. for Continental Eagle Corporation. Surviving are Son, James Ray (Carol) Moore of Billingsley, Alabama; Daughter, Myra (Pete) Burnett of Billingsley, AL; 5 Grandsons, James Karl Burnett of Billingsley, AL, Jimmy Burnett of Billingsley, AL, Randall (Diane) Moore of Verbena, AL, Eugene Moore of Billingsley, AL, Dale Headley of Jemison, AL; 5 Granddaughters, Sherry Villa of Prattville, AL, Sonya Norman of Billingsley, AL, Terry (Ronnie) Hadden of Jemison, AL, Sandra Moore of Verbena, Rhonda Gray, Verbena, AL; Daughter-in-Law, Hazel Boswell of Verbena, AL; 10 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sara Bowman Moore, Son, Kermit Moore and Son, Larry Moore. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, March 8. 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.. Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2012, at 2:00 pm. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Eubank, Rev. Charles Brooks and Rev. Oneal Cleckler officiating.
